2. Determine 90% confidence intervals for the population mean of the above variables.

3. For a 5% significance level test the following hypothesis

• H0 : mean Salary = 28 against two sided alternative, and both one sided alternatives
• H0 : GPA = 2.5 against the two sided alternative, and both one sided alternatives
• calculate the corresponding p-values
• calculate the power of the above tests for the following alternatives:mean = 25, 30, 35 and mean GPA = 3, 3.5, 4
