Part 1: Calculator Work:

- Open and print the entire Excel attachment, read it carefully for step-by-step instructions on this project.Ã‚Â In summary you wil:
- Follow the directions in the first and second spreadsheet to work with your calculator to calculate the PV for these problems.Ã‚Â The examples show you how to work Problem 1, then you will repeat the steps to complete the same exercise for Problems 2 and 3.
- After you calculate the PV, using your calculator, then go to the TVMÃ‚Â PV Problems QuizÃ‚Â (In the Assignment Folder) and enter your answers.Ã‚Â Rework the problems until you get all of them correct in the Quiz.Ã‚Â You can retake the quiz until you get them all right.

Part 2: Excel Formula:

- Continue to read the Excel Instructions from the third spreadsheet to proceed to the excel exercise. In summary you will:
- Use the other three (3) spreadsheets to write Excel formulas to get the same PV solutions for these same study problems.Ã‚Â Ã‚Â The Excel instructions at the bottom of Problem 1 spreadsheet show you how to work Problem 1, then you will repeat the steps to complete the same exercise for Problems 2 and 3.
**Place your formulas into each workbook in the appropriate row/cell address.**Ã‚Â Tip: Your answers should match what you got before only now your solutions will be obtained by working formulas in the Excel workbook.
