# Project #7384 - Linear Algebra

I only have three problems for this assignment. I desperately need the step by step solution to these to prepare for my exam. I really need to understand EXACTLY how it was solved, so please don't bid unless you are okay with explaining thoroughly. I want DETAILED steps for each problem..

1. Let p=(2,k) and q=(3,5). Find k such that the angle between p and q is pi/3.

2. Find parametric equations for the line of intersection of the given planes.
a) 7x-2y+3z=-2 and -3x+y+2z+5=0
b) 2x+3y-5z=0 and y=0

3. Find the distance between the line x=3t-1, y=2-t, z=t and each of the following points
a) (0,0,0)
b) (2,0,-5)
c) (2,1,1)

The answer to #1 is (-60+34√3)/33.
The answer to #2a is: x=-12-7t, y=-41-23t, z=t, #2b is: x=5/2t, y=0, z=t
The answer to #3a is: √(30/11), #3b is: √(382/11), #3c is: 0 since point is on the line.
