Project #7135 - Organizational Change and Transformation

In 2003, IBM's CEO, Samuel J. Palmisano, embarked on a massive restructuring project designed to transform IBM from a computer company whose growth was projected to be 6% per year, to a consulting and business outsourcing firm which would fix and/or run "big chunks of the world's business."  To do this, Palmisano would have to leverage its computer and technology expertise to grow a consulting business from scratch to one whose revenues were over $50 billion (which he did).
