The train on the left accelerates rightward at 1.2m/s2. The train on the right accelerates leftward at 1.36m/s2. (a) How far does the train on the left travel before the front ends of the trains pass? (b) If the trains are each 154.5 m in length, how long after the start are they completely past one another, assuming their accelerations are constant?

4) A stone is thrown from the top of a slope that makes an angle of 35with the horizontal. At what angle to the horizontal should the stone be thrown to get a maximum range? Show your work step by step.

5) Three concrete poles with the same size diameter=1.2 m, the same mass= 2000kg, density, and structure are piled horizontally on each other and on the top of a rough surface, μ = 0.5. To help you get the picture, two of these poles are at the bottom and the third one is on the top of them, in the middle. Calculate the minimum angle which the direction of the force acting between the cylinders and the rough surface makes with the vertical?

6) A thin uniform pole of length 30 m is pivoted at the bottom end. Calculate the most probable point of rupture on the pole as the pole falls.

7) How much energy do you waste if you walked 1 mile? Considering the friction of the shoe (rubber's u) with the ground and PotentialE= mgh because bouncing walk.
