The health behavior change I want to work on is getting back into a more regular work out schedule. This past six months or so my work out schedule has become very irregular and I can feel the impacts of it.
For the aspects of the paper I have a pretty general idea of how I want to approach the different areas. I think I just need to work out the details and specifics.
Psychological- I will focus on how I know in the past that when my workout schedule was more regular I felt less stressed and overwhelmed, I also got sick less often. I also miss the feeling of accomplishment right after a good workout.
Social- I know for me one of the biggest reason my schedule has become so irregular is trying to balance work, school, an internship and my relationships all at once. I know that both my brothers and my boyfriend would be open to going to the gym with me so I feel it would be healthy productive time spent with them. I also feel like if I’m less stressed/overwhelmed it will improve my relationships overall.
Emotional- ties into the areas above of feeling less overwhelmed/stressed.
For the behavioral change I plan on implementing a workout schedule using the SMART plan. I know I need to add some flexibility, like if the weather is nice I can sub in a hike which I enjoy a lot more than the gym. And that I will probably have to do early morning workouts during the week but I can do my Sunday workout later in the day since Sunday is my one day of the week to sleep in. These things have worked well for me in the past. I still am trying to figure a good way to hold myself accountable because keeping a log has never really worked for me.

For sources I plan on using journal articles, the SMART plan resources, and perhaps any relevant TED talks.

Use this iformation and background to write the paper. Thanks!
